Sedex is a global membership organisation that indicates a company has undergone ethical audits covering labor rights, health and safety, environment, and business ethics. Direct To Source works with Sedex-certified factories to guarantee ethical manufacturing practices.

Net Zero 2050

Net Zero 2050 is a global initiative to reduce carbon emissions by 45% by 2030 with the ultimate goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, Direct To Source is committed to helping brands achieve their Net Zero commitments through eco-sourcing and ethical manufacturing processes by reducing emissions across their product supply chain.

Carbon Neutral

In addition to avoiding and reducing emissions by simplifying the management of Scope 3 emissions throughout your company's supply chain, we can also help offset carbon emissions, an important step in climate action. Direct To Source offers the opportunity for products to become carbon neutral by compensating for what they have produced via carbon offsetting projects.

OEKO TEX

The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification ensures that textiles are free from harmful substances. Products with this label have been tested for over 100 chemicals, promoting safety and sustainability. Direct To Source ensures fabrics meet these standards to support brands and ensure the safety with their customers.

GOTS

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading worldwide standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria. GOTS-certified products must contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers. Direct To Source uses GOTS-certified fabrics to ensure the highest level of organic and sustainable production.

GRS

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full-product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. Direct To Source uses GRS-certified materials to promote recycled content in fashion products, supporting a circular economy.

FSC

FSC certification to Direct To Source can reduce the impact of sourcing paper on the environment & ecosystems they support and are easily recyclable for consumers.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification guarantees that products come from responsibly managed forests. Direct To Source uses FSC-certified paper and packaging materials to reduce the impact of sourcing paper on the environment & ecosystems they support and are easily recyclable for consumers.

Australian Cotton

 

Australian Cotton ensures cotton is produced with respect to the environment and local communities, promoting water efficiency, reduced pesticide use, and improved soil health. Direct To Source can supply Australian Cotton products to benefit sustainable farming practices and local industries.

Ocean Cycle

OceanCycle certifies products made from ocean-bound plastic, ensuring that plastic waste is collected from at-risk coastal areas and recycled responsibly. Direct To Source offers OceanCycle-certified materials for RPet products in support of reducing ocean pollution.

Recycle Partners

Within an initial collaboration with brands, Direct To Source discusses the end of life opportunities for their products, (including take-back schemes, consumer recycling options & recycling partnerships with companies like BlokTex) to truly support a circular life cycle.
